Latane Frank

Latane

Latané (Lat-knee) has been connected to renewable energy since the early 90’s when he lived and worked in the White Mountain National Forest of New Hampshire in the AMC’s hut system. There everything was powered with renewable energy systems (Solar, Wind, and Hydro). Latané left ‘The Colonies” back East in 1999 for a new life out West exploring and teaching for NOLS in wild places. After traveling and working in Alaska, Washington/Oregon, Montana, Utah, Colorado, and of course Wyoming,  Wyoming won his heart and he settled in Lander. He runs our installation and service operations in Wyoming and Idaho and coordinates specialty projects in UT. He has been building and servicing solar and wind systems for the last five years. He enjoys the diversity and complexity of the work in the region, challenging winter conditions, remote locations, large commercial systems, and the people he gets to meet and work with. No job is too small or too large, they are all different and all exciting to see produce power.
