Scott Kane is a co-founder and co-owner of Creative Energies and oversees our Wyoming and Idaho offices. He has been certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) as a Certified Solar PV Installer. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from St. Lawrence University. He was appointed to the Western Governors’ Association’s Clean and Diversified Energy Initiative’s Solar Task Force and serves on the board of directors for the Wyoming Outdoor Council, Wyoming’s oldest conservation non-profit. A Solar Energy International graduate, Scott frequently makes presentations on renewable energy technology and policy. He lives in Lander with his wife, Michelle Escudero, and daughter, Magdalena. He is an active endurance athlete, has been the first Wyoming finisher in the Boston Marathon and competes regularly in ultra-marathons and long distance ski events. As a long-time instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), Scott was honored as Instructor of the Year in 2000.
