Solar power on Santa Clara, Utah Harmons Grocery

Project: 700.6 kW DC

The new construction Harmons Grocery in Santa Clara, Utah was built with solar in mind. The 2,196 modules offset a significant portion of the grocery stores electricity use producing 1 megawatt annually. This system was designed with east-west facing Everest D-Dome racking to maximize efficiency in the restricted roof space.  The Everest racking system provides for a penetration-free ballast roof install.

Santa Clara is located in the heart of the sun belt. With countless days of sunny weather, this Harmons couldn’t be in a better location. The townspeople are ecstatic about the push toward clean energy in their area. This is the first of many solar installs to come in the area.

Visit this Harmons grand opening the week of February 22nd, 2016.
