Installation and Electrician teams work 40-hour weeks, full time, often as four 10-hour days, with some adjustments made in the winter months.

  • Teton area Installers and Electricians: Much of the project work will be in Teton County, WY and Teton Valley, ID. About a quarter of work will be farther away, in Idaho, Wyoming and Utah and will require multi-day travel of up to 3 nights a week.
  • Lander area Installers and Electricians: Project work will occur throughout Wyoming and also in Eastern Idaho and Utah. Approximately half of your work will be done in the local area as day-trips and half of the work will require overnight stays of up to 3 nights per week.
  • Salt Lake City Installers and Electricians: Project work will occur throughout the greater Salt Lake City area with occasional work beyond our metro area. Majority of your work will be done in the local area as day-trips.

Travel time is paid. Travel, hotel, and meal costs are covered by Creative Energies.

Licensed Journeyman Electricians

The Licensed Journeyman Electrician is responsible for the electrical portion of our solar installations. Projects to include residential and commercial scale grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic systems. Will plan and install conduit and wire for DC and AC wire runs, install and wire inverter systems and energy monitoring equipment. Will troubleshoot and provide service for existing solar power systems. Will work with permitting offices and electrical inspectors and will be responsible for completing electrical work in a Code-compliant and safe manner. Will work along with solar installers and system designer as a member of our solar installation team.

Solar Installers

Seeking lead solar installers.  Creative Energies is the leading solar power installation company in the region.  We seek motivated candidates to become team members who work build efficient roof and ground mounted solar power systems for residences and commercial buildings in a safe manner.

Position qualifications:

  • Prepared and tolerant to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
  • Background in electrical, construction, photovoltaic, or roofing preferred;
  • Comfortable and competent to work on roofs, ladders, in attics, and around excavation sites;
  • A positive, motivated member of a team with clear communication skills;
  • Able to lift 75 pounds;
  • Interest and enthusiasm for solar power technology; and
  • Valid driver’s license.

Lead Solar Installers

Our Lead Solar Installers are responsible for supervision and construction decisions for project installations and provide assistance with service calls for existing systems.  Creative Energies will provide specific training to promote your mastery of Solar Electric construction and design skill set.

Position qualifications:

  • Previous construction leadership roles on job sites
  • Prepared and tolerant to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
  • Background in electrical, construction, photovoltaic, or roofing preferred;
  • Knowledge of job site safety protocols and OSHA standards
  • Comfortable and competent to work on roofs, ladders, in attics, and around excavation sites;
  • A positive, motivated member of a team with clear communication skills;
  • Able to lift 75 pounds;
  • Interest and enthusiasm for solar power technology; and
  • Valid driver’s license.
