Creative Energies assisted the Rexburg, ID school district with their application for funding by the Idaho State Office of Energy Resources. Based on the quality of the proposal, Madison High School was selected as a grant winner and awarded funding for this 86 kW solar power system. Creative Energies developed the full system design, coordinated all permitting, provided structural and electrical engineering and made all utility company arrangements for net metering and inspection. The solar array layout was carefully planned to maximize use of the available roof space and eliminate energy generation losses from shading by roof features. The design and installation prioritized avoiding any penetrations in the new EPDM membrane roof. The solar energy generation and full-building energy consumption can be viewed at:
