Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit for Commercial Projects at 26%
The Federal Solar Investment Tax Credit (ITC) is valued at 26% of total solar power system cost for commercial properties. This credit is used when commercial businesses purchase solar systems and have them installed. Battery for backup power like Tesla Powerwall also qualifies for this tax credit at 26 percent.
Local Solar Tax Credits, Rebates, and Incentives
