Position Title: Communications Support Specialist
Base Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Classification: Entry Level, Part Time (24 hrs/week)
Schedule: Wednesday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (In Office)
Compensation: Starting at $15.00/Hour

Summary of Position:

The Communications Support Specialist plays an integral customer service role in helping maintain clear, consistent, and reliable communications with our clients and across our Team. The position answers phones and emails company-wide and helps maintain a positive customer experience. This part-time, entry-level position partners closely with our Solar Sales Coordinator and Technical Sales Team and is responsible for entering and processing new incoming leads and requests to go solar.

Duties

  • Answer and direct phone calls company-wide
  • Respond to incoming emails while managing company email inbox
  • Represent Creative Energies as first point of contact for potential customers
  • Collect and record initial customer contact and project site information into CRM Software
  • Follow up regularly with potential customers to maintain engagement
  • Handoff leads and opportunities to sales team members
  • Partner with Solar Sales Coordinator to help manage Zoom phone tree and auto-attendant
  • Stay up to date on current services and products that the company offers
  • Maintain organized communication logs and project notes

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Possess a positive attitude and enjoy collaborative work environments
  • Exhibit clear and concise communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Have an interest and enthusiasm for solar energy
  • Demonstrate a can-do-attitude and be comfortable collaborating with multiple team members
  • Experience in customer service and/or communication
  • Experience with Zoom Phone, Zoom Chat, and GMail Suite is a plus
  • Data entry experience is a plus
  • Experience with solar energy is a plus
  • Must have a valid ID

Education/Training:

High school diploma/GED required

Travel and Work schedule:

Wednesday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM, In Office

Reports to:

The Communications Support Specialist reports to the Sales & Marketing Manager and works closely with the Solar Sales Coordinator, Technical Sales Team and Marketing Team Lead.
