Public Safety Building Solar Canopy

Creative Energies designed and built the Salt Lake City Public Safety Building solar canopy.

The glass of the entrance canopy has custom solar cells installed to produce electricity while allowing sunlight to still pass through it. The facility, which includes a new Emergency Operations Center, serves Salt Lake City residents, visitors, and businesses, while better meeting the needs of Utah’s capital city. Design work was done by Salt Lake City based GSBS Architects.
